Last Splash of Summer: Abstract Art 2-Day Workshop (Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, from 9am-noon each day).
Celebrate the final days of summer with two colorful mornings of creativity! Young artists will explore abstract painting through bold colors, layered brushstrokes, playful shapes, hearts, Xs and Os, splatters, texture, decoupage, glitter, and gem embellishments.
Each artist will create a one-of-a-kind canvas inspired by our bright, energetic workshop design. No two paintings will look alike, and students will be encouraged to experiment, express themselves, and add their own personal style.
Date: Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12
Time: 9:00 AM–Noon
Ages: 10+
Workshop includes:
- All art materials and supplies
- Guided instruction
- Canvas artwork to take home on day 2
- Glitter and gem embellishments
- Snack and drinks
No previous art experience is needed. Please send your child in clothing that can get messy.
Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
Once pre-registered here, you'll receive a separate email with a Registration/Emergency Form to complete. If your child attended a 2026 summer camp or workshop, his/her form is on file. Please reply to email stating one is on file.
