Marlena Campbell is a local Santa Fe artist whose vibrant landscapes capture the spirit of life in perpetual bloom. A Master’s Degree graduate of Pepperdine University, Campbell found her true calling in painting and developing a signature style that breathes life into every canvas. Her work is characterized by bold colors, multidimensional layers of paint, and rhythmic brushstrokes that convey a dynamic sense of motion and vitality.
Leah Poller, an internationally acclaimed bronze sculptor, brings a different but equally compelling narrative to the show. Her journey as an artist took a transformative turn following a studio accident that confined her to bedrest—this period of introspection led to her groundbreaking series “BED,” a collection of over 100 sculptures exploring mankind’s complex relationship with the bed in its many forms. Poller’s work is rich with humor, pathos, whimsy, and passion offering an exploration of a universal yet often overlooked aspect of human life.
Attendees will enjoy refreshments as they explore the vibrant, emotive paintings of Marlena Campbell and the thought-provoking sculptures of Leah Poller. This event will celebrate artistic expression and creativity, offering a unique blend of local charm and international perspective.
