I'm the Tacoma Ambassador for a group called Everwalk. You can read more about it here: https://everwalk.com/ The short story is that their mission is to get people walking for health. You can also learn more about Diana Nyad on Netflix. People can choose whatever distance they want, no distance is too short or too long and you can always build up to more. We’ll walk rain or shine. We start at Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park and will go along Ruston Way and back. Our July walk is Sunday, July 7.
At 8:45 I will do Tai Chi in the Pagoda at the park. You’re welcome to join me or just do some stretches to get warmed up. Then we'll be on our way at 9 a.m. from the sign at the Park’s entrance. Parking is free near Chinese Reconciliation Park which is on the Southeast end of Ruston Way.
