Gallery Opening Reception 4-7pm: October Exhibition Opening in The Founders Gallery: Earth Song/Heart Song by Deborah Hildinger. Earth Song/Heart Song honors our environment and cherished relationships. The artist employs gourds and other earth elements to create vessels that convey her message. Each vessel tells a story, allowing viewers to connect with the artwork on a personal level and encouraging a relationship with her work. Opening 4-7pm. Exhibition through October 27. Wine and beer available for purchase.
Hub Artist Challenge 11am-3pm: Dark Arts – Join Hub artists in the lobby to view the final completed original artworks from the Dark Arts Artist Challenge. Cast your vote for your favorite Artist Challenge artwork and mingle with the artists.
Live Music 11am-1pm: RhythmWorks outside The Hub; 5-7pm Jim Bryer in the Lobby.
Talk Art! 1-2pm: An informal demonstration and conversation with a Hub artist.
Sip & Stroll 1-6pm: The Hub and Jane’s participate every 1st Saturday in Canal Street’s Sip & Stroll. Purchase tickets at the Info Booth on Canal Street or online at www.canalstreetnsb.com and be sure to visit The Hub and Jane’s during your Canal Street journey.
