Gallery Opening Reception from 4-7pm: October Exhibition Opening in The Founders Gallery Ruminations & Meanderings by Tim Reilly. Sometimes an exhibition is united by a color palette. Sometimes it's joined together by a specific technique, style of imagery or subject matter. The unifying theme in Tim Reilly's exhibition, Ruminations and Meanderings, is his extraordinary attention to detail. Tim is a classically trained oil painter and when he works in oil you see inanimate objects, traditional still lifes and live subjects all rendered in near-photorealistic style. In this exhibition he also presents work in pastel and graphite. In all cases, Tim’s amazing eye for detail brings the show together. Opening from 4-7pm. Artist's Talk, 6pm. Exhibition through Oct 31.
Art Connections 10am-7pm: an inside look at the work of more than 60 local artists. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District.
Live Music 11am-1pm: RhythmWorks outside The Hub. 5-7pm: James Hall in the Lobby.
Talk Art! 1-2pm: Art Realized, an informal demo and conversation with Hub artist Renee Lewis.
