It's Newbie Night! that means we're starting a new beginning series at the 6:30pm timeslot, so bring yourself, bring your friends! no experience or partners necessary.West Coast Swing is a modern form of partner dancing stylized to current music trends (top 40, Pop, R&B, Acoustic, Electro, etc...). It's characterized by smooth movement and a versatile structure allowing a wide variety of expressions and interpretations to the breadth of music we dance to.

6:30pm - WCS Lv 1 Series w/Phoenix
This series begins on the first Monday of each month and runs through the end of the month (usually 4-5 weeks). We start from the very beginning and explore WCS from the ground up, exploring all the details and techniques along the way. This is a perfect starting place for beginners learning for the first time, as well as experienced dancers looking to truly understand and master their basics. There is an A & B sequence. "A" covers 6ct movements (pushes, passes & variations), while "B" covers 8 ct movements (eg whips) and how they relate to 6 ct movements.
7:30pm WCS Lv 1 Drop in w/Jack & Rachel
This class rotates material from week to week, but will always remain accessible to brand new dancers each week. This is a great compliment to the 6:30 series to increase perspective and practice time, or a great place to get started if you missed the beginning of the series. Also great for getting on the floor right away without getting bogged down by the details.
7:30 WCS Lv 2+ Technique Drop in w/Phoenix
This class expands upon what was learned in LV 1 and can encompass new patterns, variations, higher level techniques, syncopations, or musicality.
