The Halifax Sitter Social is a free event where families and sitters/caregivers find the right fit in a simple, fun way, with activities, coffee, and sweet treats.š° Why join us?
Finding the right sitter is an important decision. This event gives you the chance to meet many sitters face-to-face, not just through a screen, all while enjoying a fun afternoon with your little ones. Thereāll be coffee, snacks, and fun activities, and youāll head home with connections you can truly feel confident about.
ā How it works:
Sitters will be set up at activity stations, playing and interacting with kids while chatting with the families. This way, you get a real sense of who they are, beyond just a profile or a message thread. You will also get a handout with sitter info to take home, making it easy to follow up later.
When: Sunday November 9th , families can drop-in anytime between 11:30 - 3:30
Where: Keshen Goodman Library - Red Oak Room
Cost: Thanks to our sponsor, Tidy Hali Cleaners, this event is totally free, families drop-in, sitters/caregivers please DM to register for a time slot
