The Halifax Sitter Social is a free event where families and sitters/caregivers in the HRM find the right fit in a simple, fun way, with activities, coffee, and sweet treats.☕ How it works:
Sitters will be set up at activity stations, playing and interacting with kids while chatting with parents. This way, families get a real sense of who they are, beyond just a profile or a message thread. Parents will also get sitter info to take home, making it easy to follow up later.
🍰 Why come?
Finding the right sitter or caregiver is such an important decision. This event gives you the chance to meet great sitters face-to-face, not just through a screen, all while enjoying a relaxed afternoon with your little ones. There’ll be coffee, snacks, and fun activities, and you’ll head home with connections you can truly feel confident about.
When: Sunday November 9th , families drop-in anytime between 11:30 - 3:30
Where: Keshen Goodman Library - Red Oak Room
Cost: Free, families drop-in, sitters/caregivers please DM to register for a time slot
