1ST FRIDAY GALLERY OPENING NIGHT: SEPTEMBERJoin us at the Planted. Gallery during September for Passionately Amalgamated, a collection of new works by Stephanie Funke.
Stephanie Funke is an Eastern Iowa artist who originally worked primarily in photography but more recently devotes much time to drawing and teaching repetitive, structured patterns associated with the Zentangle© art method. She also uses many of her photos in original graphic designs. As a Certified Zentangle© Teacher with over twenty years of teaching experience, she regularly participates in tangling workshops and trainings, teaches ongoing virtual group and individual Zentangle© classes, and presents seminars and retreats.
For Passionately Amalgamated, Funke has created over twenty original pieces that combine her love of bold and repetitive patterns, photography, inspirational verses, and graphic design. Through this variety of mediums, she explores the overwhelming power, beauty, intense extremes, and profound lessons of nature. This show is a labor of love and speaks to her passion for these mediums and the world around her.
The show will be on display from September 6 - 30; the opening reception is Friday, September 6th from 6-8 pm. This event is free and open to the public
