Join us for the 1st Annual ParaJam Gathering! Paramotor enthusiasts will be coming together to fly at the Rockingham Airport in North Carolina, there will be some friendly competition, cross country flights to the historic Rockingham Motor Speedway, and of course, lots of flying!We encourage you to bring your friends and families with you as there will be plenty of room to set up camp or park your trailer alongside the flight line! There will not be RV hook ups available, however, we will have limited access to the FBO Restrooms.
There are local hotels and restaurants nearby as well.
Pets are MORE than welcome to join, all that is requested is that they remain on a leash and ensure use of appropriate area for relieving themselves and immediately clean up any surprise landmines.
AIRPORT MANAGEMENT REQUESTS
WARNING: There will be zero tolerance for failing to adhere to requests listed below. You will be asked to leave immediately and will be blacklisted from future events.
Participants must:
-Attend pilot briefing before flying.
-Keep the runway clear (remove unused equipment from the field promptly after the flight and only set up immediately before launching).
-Keep all equipment, tents, vehicles, and people behind the flight line unless directly involved in flight operations.
-Familiarize themselves with the airspace and local conditions.
-Yield right of way to landing pilots.
-Fly commensurate with skill level.
Participants must NOT:
-Harass wildlife or people.
-Fly low over people, buildings or animals.
-Perform demonstration flights without prior arrangement with staff.
-Perform group training or first solo flights.
-Fly over / near active airport runways.
-Have campfire directly on grass runway: Must have a standing fire pit.
