1st Annual Music Benefit for The Santa Cruz County Veterans Memorial Building

On Friday, August 28th, 2026, Mountain Music Productions is hosting a musical benefit for The Santa Cruz County Veterans Memorial Building on Front Street in Santa Cruz featuring the Anthony Arya Band, Slingshot Improv Trio, Love Creek, and Redwood Express. This will be an evening of top local rock n’ roll for a great cause!
Doors: 5:00 pm
Show: 6:00 pm
Seating is general admission with seats in the balcony and on the floor, as well as dance space. Tickets are $20 advance and day of show. Veterans and children under 12 get in free.

This event aims to support crucial services like groceries, hot meals, housing assistance, medical and mental healthcare, and clothing for local veterans.
The annual compensation the Santa Cruz Veterans building receives from the County of Santa Cruz has not increased in at least 14 years, despite the rising costs of supplies, goods, generalized inflation, and the irreversible impact of Covid.
Offering local Veterans hot meals, groceries, housing assistance, mental and physical medical care and counseling, as well as maintaining the building for public use for things like classes, recovery meetings, theatrical performances and concerts, all cost money and add up to more expenses than the county funding covers, but we can help!
Redwood Express, Love Creek, Slingshot Improv Trio, and the Anthony Arya Band will take the stage at the historic Santa Cruz Veterans Memorial Building on Friday, August 28th.
