The Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association is thrilled to announce our 1st Annual Henry Pace Golf Tournament, to be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024! This exciting event will take place at the beautiful Timberton Golf Club, held in conjunction with our 2024 MOMA Annual Business Meeting!
This event is hosted by MOMA, Mississippi's only physician organization exclusively devoted to representing osteopathic physicians since its founding in 1980. MOMA's mission is to promote quality osteopathic medicine throughout the state, and we invite you to join us in this event!
The Henry Pace Scholarship Fund honors Dr. Henry Pace, PhD, a pivotal figure in advancing osteopathic medicine in Mississippi. Dr. Pace was instrumental in securing full practice rights for osteopathic physicians in 1973 and played a key role in establishing both MOMA and the William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. His legacy includes mentoring over 2,000 osteopathic medical students, and the scholarship continues his work by providing financial assistance to deserving students, promoting excellence, fostering mentorship, and strengthening the osteopathic community.
