1st Annual Fall FUNraiser Concert and Night Market

On October 1, 2022, Lil' Miss Story Hour will host their 1st Annual Fall FUNraiser Concert and Story Time to kick off their Fall FUNraising season as well as October Arts Month!

In the Kids’ Corner, there will be story times throughout the evening. Book selections will include "No Mirrors in my Nana’s House" by Synthia Saint James; "Feel the Beat: Dance Poems that Zing from Salsa to Swing" by Marilyn Singer; and "Harlem’s Little Blackbird" by Renee Watson; and "Oso pardo, oso pardo, que ves ahí" by Bill Martin Jr. & Eric Carle (Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? en español) Additionally, other kid friendly activities will be available in the Kids’ Corner.

On the performance stage, DJ Chloebeblessed will be our MC and DJ for musical performances by Elimence, My Name is Harriet, and Cheerish Martin; a drag show by Porsha DeMarco-Douglas & Alexandre Valentino Skye; and a dance performance by Leona Abdullah-Ward. More performances will include Djembe drumming with Congo Paul, beats with DJ Timmy, and a poetry performance by the Poet Rose Gold. A surprise headliner will close out the concert under a blanket of stars!

A night vendor market, including food trucks will run from 4pm to 7pm.

$15 and under -- entry only

$30 -- entry, 1 drink ticket (non alcoholic) or big max snowball shaved ice ticket

$50 -- entry, 2 drink tickets (non alcoholic) or 2 big max snowball shaved ice tickets, and 1 ice cream ticket

$100 -- entry, 4 drink tickets (non alcoholic) or 4 big max snowball shaved ice tickets, and 2 ice cream tickets, tented/roped off VIP seating for up to two guests

$250 and up -- entry, 8 drink tickets (non alcoholic) or 8 big max snowball shaved ice tickets, 4 ice cream tickets, tented/roped off VIP seating for up to six guests, early venue access with artist meet & greet (autographs & merch)
