About this Event

The African Caribbean Centre of Central Alberta would like to cordially invite you to our 1st Annual Afro Caribbean Cultural Event.

Nov 18, 2022. At Festival Hall from 6 to 10 pm.

Our Entertainment:

"The Band Veritas " by Crux & Enoch. (From Edmonton, AB).

African cultural dances will be children, youth and women by Cameroon's outstanding performances.

The African cultural dances, by Nigariaans professional performances.

Colombian cultural dance is by Martha Cortes.

The Keynote Speaker is Dr. Love Nwigwe, a fantastic philanthropist and owner of UgoEza Production & BI INCORP. She is a defender of human rights, peace, and injustice and thrives in an atmosphere of quality, mutual respect, creativity and opportunity to succeed. Dr. Love is the founder and president of the International Women of Purpose Cultural Association in Red Deer. Dr. Love's association has the dedication to maintaining, protecting, and exhibiting different cultures regardless of race. She is a writer and executive producer of a short movie on racial discrimination, "I Can't Breathe," Funded by Tules StoryVile, with emphases on Martin Luther King's saying, "The time is always right to do what is right." She has many prestigious awards, such as the Diversity Award 2018 (Red Deer, AB), Sydney Correl Award 2017 (Charlotte USA), and nominated Daughter of Year Award in 2022 and the DDEA Humanitarian Award 2022 (USA).

Community leaders will make a lot of speeches to support ACCoCA's vision and mission statements, socially cohesive and cultural exchange of knowledge and education.
