About this Event
Here is a quick overview of what you can expect at our City Worship Night:
We will gather as the City Church to hear from God, through the Holy Spirit working through the body of believers.
Our goal as a group is to practice a 1 Corinthians 14:26 style gathering where spiritual gifts are stirred up, released, and are used to build up the larger group. Many of us are not used to this type of gathering, and we’re here to get some “reps” on how to do this together.
"Well, my brothers and sisters, let’s summarize. When you meet together, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in tongues, and another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must strengthen all of you." - 1 Corinthians 14:26 NLT
Our focus is to strengthen our ability to release more gifts in the context of smaller gatherings but it’s often easier to practice in a larger group to see more examples of how the gifts function to build up the Body.
Allow yourself to fully engage and receive what God has for our group! Prepare by asking God what He wants to speak to you to share with others.
