1Hood Select: The Basixs Of DJ'ing W/ DJ QRX Part One

1Hood Select is a program where experts in their perspective field host a class sharing their expertise and knowledge for others to learn.

In this edition of 1Hood Select, it will be hosted by 1Hood DJ, Union Member, & Pittsburgh DJ Battle Champion DJ QRX.

In this two part series of 1Hood Select, QRX will be covering all of the "Basixs" of the art of DJ'ing.

In this first part on June 26, 2024, he will be covering everything you need to get started as a DJ in this new era. That will encompass the history, what software & hardware you will need, & how to navigate said equipment, including on what lingo and terminology is crucial to know to become a successful DJ.

This class is for any skill level from beginner all the way to expert. Be sure to bring your laptop or something to take notes with to return with in part 2, where it we will be taking the learned knowledge from part 1 & putting it into practice.
