✨ HOY, it’s time! ✨ Our summer wouldn’t be complete without the 19th Annual HOY Fiesta with Tribute to Santa Ana on Saturday, July 26!
Renamed for 2026, we felt this better captured our broader showcase of Filipino culture, community, and tradition while supporting charitable and community initiatives. Enjoy all the celebrations you know and love with some exciting new additions this year:

What’s this about?
Our 19th Annual HOY Fiesta with Tribute to Santa Ana is rooted in a four century old Philippine legend recounting how two mysterious figures miraculously led the people of present-day Taguig to a river abundant with banak (a fish), saving the community from a famine. Elements of this folklore can be found in our promotional materials. Over time, our celebrations grew beyond this into a vibrant showcase of Filipino culture with food, games, and festivities for all ages while fundraising for various charitable and community initiatives that reflect our values.
Who are we helping this year?
1.) Filipino Language and Culture School of Edmonton Society (FLCSES) is a non-profit school based in Edmonton dedicated to teaching K to 12 students and adults Filipino art, culture, and language.
2.) Share Your Spare Singapore Foundation (SYS) is a Singapore based non-profit who aims to help less fortunate kids in the Philippines through toy libraries and feeding programs. They also send school supplies, clothes, and books. In fact, as of April 5, 2026, SYS hit a milestone of 1,000 balikbayan boxes (large freight boxes) shipped to the Philippines!
