Explore a 1940s home front Christmas at the historic Coley House.
Friday, December 19: 6pm & 7:30pm
Saturday, December 20: 4:30pm, 6:00pm & 7:30pm.
Start your tour with live Jazz in our visitor's center while you enjoy holiday treats, made from World War II ration recipes.
Then follow your tour guide, dressed in period costume, to the historic Coley House - decorated as it would have been during the 1940s, when the last three generations of the Coley family occupied the home.
View authentic 1930s and 1940s holiday decorations. Learn how World War II impacted holiday celebrations in America and listen to original radio broadcasts featuring Bing Crosby and Judy Garland.
End your visit with more treats and live Jazz holiday tunes.
Tickets:
$15 per person: Members of the Weston History & Culture Center
$25 per person: General Admission
No refunds, unless the event is cancelled by the Weston History & Culture Center. If you do not attend or have to cancel, we will consider your purchase a donation and can issue you a donation receipt.
The Weston Historical Society D/B/A The Weston History & Culture Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is located at 104 Weston Road in Weston, CT. Parking and entrance on High Acre Road. Open every Thursday and the first and last Sundays of every month, except holidays and holiday weekends.
