Join us and experience this powerful story on Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th, 2026, at 6:30 pm. "1932-1933: A Holodomor story" is a live theatre production showcasing acting, Ukrainian dance, and music. The original story is created, directed, and choreographed by Shaughnessy Potter, which includes a cast of 20-25 performers of all ages. The original story takes place in a small village in Ukraine in the years of 1932-1933, during the man-made famine, the Holodomor. The production will be presented at the CARIC festival at Concordia University of Edmonton. Blending history with artistry, the performance brings the voices of the past to the stage, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, stories, culture, and hope endure.
