On Sunday 16 November, we're having a ceremony to hand over Stagecoach Manchester 19001, which has been returned to its original 'rolling ball' livery by our lovely friends at Stagecoach.
We'd love you to come along and watch, so we're putting on some free heritage buses between the Museum and Corporation St, stop NU [NB - not serving Shudehill].
Here's the outline for the day:
1020: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1120: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1130: 19001 handover ceremony
1220: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1300: 19001 and 612 pose on turning circle
1320: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1420: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1430: Grand lodge service, 19001 and 612
1520: stop NU shuttle, 5208
1530: Grand lodge service, 19001 and 612
1620: stop NU shuttle, 5208 (this will make a connection from the 1530 Grand Lodge trip, so visitors can have a trip at 1530 and catch this departure to get back to Manchester city centre)
Stop NU shuttle does NOT call at Queens Road Metrolink or Shudehill Interchange. Buses depart from stop NU 10 minutes after departure from Museum of Transport.
