One of the longest consecutively running county fairs in New York State, the Genesee County Fair, is celebrating its 182nd year! A short drive from both Rochester and Buffalo, and at just $10 per carload, it’s one of the most affordable family activities of the summer. In 2022 the annual county fair will again include a second weekend! Over the 8 days of the fair, attendees will enjoy nightly live music, daily 4-H animal shows, pig races, wood carving, pony rides, Niagara County Down Under and an Midway courtesy of Hammerl Amusements. Also this year, midway rides, and more free entertainment – including pig races daily, balloon demonstrations, Educational Talks and visit with Kangaroos, Wallabies and Tortoises from Niagara County Down Under.
Entry: $10 per carload donation includes parking and fairgrounds (July 23rd-30th). All proceeds fund fair initiatives.
Additional:
July 23rd, 27th and 30th will be $15.00 Kids Day Wrist Bands for the rides.
July 26th -Fair parade starts at 6:30pm.
July 29th- Demolition Derby $15 per person, kids 5-12 $10, Kids 4& under free, $40 Pit Pass for July 29th Demolition Derby.
