Join us on Saturday, June 6, 2026 for an all-levels Salsa & Bachata workshop, performances, raffles, cake, and a late-night social dancing until at least midnight. Early bird single tickets are just $20 through January 31, 2026. BSDC monthly members attend free (BYOB & potluck style).

On Saturday, June 6, 2026, we’re celebrating 18 years of Baltimore Salsa Dance Company / BSDC Latin, African & Cultural Dance Institute– and you’re invited to our Anniversary Latin Dance Extravaganza!

From our beginnings as Baltimore Salsa Dance Company to our beautiful new home in Glen Burnie, BSDC has spent nearly two decades bringing Salsa, Bachata, and cultural dance to the community. This year, we’re going all out with a special night of dancing, performances, and celebration.

Event Schedule

7:00–8:00 PM – Anniversary Salsa & Bachata Mash-Up Workshop (All Levels)

Kick off the night with a fun, all-levels workshop designed for both beginners and experienced dancers. We’ll get everyone moving, connecting, and ready for the party.

8:00–8:15 PM – Welcome & BSDC Story

Hear from Founder/Director Tabitha "La Sslsa Sensei" Hitchye as she shares the story of Baltimore Salsa Dance Company, the evolution into BSDC Latin, African & Cultural Dance Institute, and what’s next for our community.

8:15–9:30 PM – Social Dancing

Enjoy a high-energy mix of **Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, and more** with that classic BSDC vibe.

9:30–10:00 PM – Performances & Recognitions

Stay for special performances by BSDC teams and instructors (TBA), plus recognitions for long-time students, volunteers, and community partners. We’ll also take a special 18-Year BSDC Family group photo!

10:00 PM – 12:00 AM+ – Late-Night Anniversary Social

We’re keeping the party going until at least midnight – and as long as you’re still dancing, we’ll keep the music playing. Expect birthday dances, ruedas/line dances, and lots of social dancing and celebration.

BSDC Members (Monthly Memberships):

- For members, this event is BYOB and potluck style – please bring a drink, dish, or snack to share so we can celebrate together as a community.

You do not need to be an advanced dancer to attend. All levels are welcome, and you can come solo or with friends.

- Comfortable shoes you can dance in

- A small towel or fan (we’ll be dancing a lot!)

- Optional: BYOB and/or a dish/snack to share if you are a BSDC member

- Your best energy and your love for music, culture, and community
