17th Distinguished Artist Veterans Exhibit

Theme: Service, Practice, Voice

Art Spark Texas presents its 17th annual veterans exhibit in partnership with SHE VET iNspires.

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the United States, this traveling exhibition comes to Downtown Houston at the Central Public Library, on view November 2, 2026 – February 4, 2027.

This exhibit celebrates veteran creativity in any medium, subject matter, or career stage. It highlights artists whose work reflects sustained inquiry, technical rigor, and personal evolution beyond military service.

Service, Practice, Voice centers artistic practice as an ongoing commitment, shaped by experience, but not defined by it. By centering service as commitment, practice as process, and voice as evolution, the exhibition honors veteran creativity as dynamic, expansive, and fully embedded in the broader landscape of contemporary art.
