17th CLD College Prep Conference & College Fair (#CPCDREAM)

The CLD Annual College Prep Conference & College Fair is an event designed to give students and parents throughout Indiana a comprehensive understanding of the entire college readiness process.

In collaboration with college and university administrators, CLD will expose students and parents to the many opportunities that a college education can offer through informative sessions.

This conference will provide resources for youth and parents to help change behavior and values while guiding them to a self-directed path that will help them achieve in high school, enroll in and graduate from college, build character, and become successful leaders in their career choice.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION

THE COLLEGE PREP CONFERENCE IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THE CLD COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP TRACK.

STUDENT SESSIONS: All student sessions have been pre-selected and required for students to attend based on their conference track. Conference track will be provided to each student upon check in. Students and parents will be attending separate sessions.

PARENT SESSIONS: All parents will attend pre-selected sessions and have the opportunity to select 1 or 2 sessions of their choice. Conference track and additional information will be provided upon check-in.

STUDENT ATHELETE AND STUDENT ATHLETE PARENT SESSION: There will be 1 session lead by the NCAA that is designed for student athletes and parents to learn about enrolling in a Division I or II school NCAA requirements, and strategies to be academically prepared for college success.

What: 17th Annual College Prep Conference & College Fair

When: Saturday, September 14, 2024

Time: 9:00AM – 4:30PM, check-in begins at 8:00AM

Where: Indiana Convention Center – Sagamore Ballroom

Who: 9th-12th grade students, student athletes, and parents/supportive adults.

Keynote Speaker: Jeermal Sylvester

Fee: $25.00 (includes continental breakfast and lunch).

The College Prep Conference and College Fair welcomes the following to attend:

• 9th -11th grade students

• 12th grade students

• 9th -12th student athletes

• 9th -11th grade student parents

• 12th grade student parents

• 9th -12th grade student athlete parents

Due to the nature of this conference, tickets are non-transferable and non- refundable. We appreciate your understanding as we work to build this unique college readiness experience.
