Each year, the annual Walk to End Homelessness raises awareness about homelessness in our region, as well as funds to help our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Last year, over 200 people participated in the Walk, and hundreds more read about the event in the press and on social media.The 17th Annual Walk to End Homelessness is on Sunday, April 28. NLHHC, along with its co-host Connecticut College, invites you to join the event. Our goal is to inspire the whole region to take a stand at one point in time against homelessness and raise essential funds to directly support our homeless shelter guests. The walk route is not strenuous and will pass many of New London’s historic, cultural, and social service landmarks in the city that bears the brunt of the responsibility to help its neighbors from across the region experiencing homelessness.
