Join us for the 17th Annual Jacksonville Run For The Warriors and Block Party!On June 15th, celebrate the Jacksonville community with Hope For The Warriors at the event that started it all.
Family-friendly and free to attend, you won’t want to miss out on the food, fun, and activities at this event!
This year's Run For The Warriors will feature the First Mile, a free 1-mile walk/run at 10:30 AM. NO registration is required!
The First Mile provides the spirit and motivation to carry on, to take the first step — to embrace life and its challenges. It is a reminder of what our country’s warriors embark upon after leaving service, whether it’s finding a civilian job, reconnecting with family, or recovering from physical or mental trauma. Embrace the camaraderie and belonging as you, your family, and your community complete the First Mile.
The Block Party will include fun, family-friendly activities such as a Bounce House, Inflatable Slide from OCA Party Rentals, Giant Jenga, Giant Connect Four, and Corn Hole, and will feature face painting from Funtastic Faces, live music from Shiftin Gears, food from the Stanny Dogs food truck Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Nautical Bowls, drinks from Oh Gee Boba Tea, and coffee from Jireh Peruvian Coffee. Gold’s Gym will be onsite handing out waters, Johnson Funeral Home will be onsite handing out snacks, and WRNS will have Crystal Legends onsite as the Emcee and they will also be doing a live radio broadcast.
