FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are dogs allowed at the event?
Although we like dogs, we discourage you from bringing them because not all children are comfortable around dogs. However, if you feel strongly about bringing your dog, we ask that you would please be respectful of others and keep your dog on a leash and clean up after them.
Where should I park?
If you arrive early enough you can grab a parking spot at the lower/upper Salesianum parking lot or Abessinio Stadium. Otherwise, you can use street parking. *Note: Street parking on Broom Street in front of the school will be blocked off as that is where the race starts/ends.
Is the course wheelchair/hand-cyclist/stroller friendly?
Yes, the course runs along the Brandywine River with a decent downhill slope to start the race. On the return route near the end of the course, there is an alternative route for those on wheels which avoids the uphill cobblestone slope. This route will be clearly marked.
Do I have to run or can I walk?
The B+ 5K is open to everyone! We welcome participants that are very competitive as well as those who are interested in enjoying a nice stroll with great views. The start line will be staggered to accommodate the varying interests of participants.
Will B+ gear be sold at the 5K?
Yes! We accept cash, credit card, and Venmo for payment.
