NEW FOR 2026

ATL HIP HOP WEEK

December 1-6, 2026

MORE THAN A PERFORMANCE.

In 2026, the ATL Hip Hop Day experience begins before we ever reach the park.

For the first time, ATL Hip Hop Day expands into ATL Hip Hop Week, creating additional experiences around performance, artist development, networking, music discovery, media, wellness and the business behind the culture.

But there is an important distinction.

SEPTEMBER 1-4 PROGRAMMING IS FOR REGISTERED ATL HIP HOP DAY PERFORMERS.

Pre-festival ATL Hip Hop Week programming is designed primarily for confirmed 2026 ATL Hip Hop Day performing artists who have completed their paid artist registration.

These experiences are part of the expanded artist experience and are not general-public festival events unless specifically announced otherwise.

Registered performers should follow official ATL Hip Hop Day artist communications for credentials, exact locations, schedules, check-in instructions and eligibility.

The public celebration takes place September 5-6 at Historic Fourth Ward Park

TUESDAY, December 1

ATL HIP HOP WEEK OPENING EXPERIENCE

VIRTUAL ARTIST ORIENTATION POWERED BY GROOVETIE

The week begins with participating performers getting prepared.

This isn't simply about showing up for a performance.

It's about being prepared to maximize the opportunity.

WEDNESDAY, December 2

PRIORITY PLAYLIST

PERFORMANCE. DISCOVERY. CONNECTION.

Presented in conjunction with RocLan One, Priority Playlist provides participating artists another environment to perform, introduce their music, network and connect with Atlanta's creative community ahead of festival weekend.

It's not simply another stage.

IT'S ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY TO BE SEEN, HEARD AND REMEMBERED.

Artists have the opportunity to put a face behind the music, build relationships and become part of a broader creative community.

THE CAREER BEHIND THE PERFORMANCE.

Before we head to Historic Fourth Ward Park, participating artists come together with media, entrepreneurs, creatives, community leaders and other voices for conversations and relationships that extend beyond the stage.

Programming is designed around areas that matter to an artist's long-term development, including:

Media + visibility

Artist development

Networking

Entrepreneurship

Health + wellness

Relationship building

Career sustainability

Because talent can get someone's attention.

PREPARATION, INFORMATION AND RELATIONSHIPS HELP BUILD A CAREER.

Programming includes the Hemp & Wellness Panel hosted by Durban Dames.
