We will be hosting a Christmas Battle Game this week.
This will be a bit of a light-hearted night with a few different game modes. You are encouraged to come along in your best Christmas themed soft kit, but you are more than welcome to come along in regular kit if you'd prefer.
For the purpose of encouraging thematic costuming for this special Christmas event game, we have made an alternative wound point scoring system available. For our game this Wednesday only, players may receive: (one of)
Your normal armour WP as calculated from the Swordcraft rules
OR
• +1 wp for thematic additions (at least 1 element)
• +3 wp for a full thematic costume (at least 3 elements, or substantial across the torso, limbs and head)
• +5 wp for exemplary costuming (only available if proposed and pre-approved by EQ before Thursday 21 December at midday)
Costume bonuses are not stackable with the existing armour rules, but you are welcome to choose whichever of the two systems grants you the highest WP.
In the interest of player safety, please stick to soft kit elements.

Join us outdoors for an epic night of battles! Come and play at Swordcraft Geelong every Wednesday at the Geelong Obedience Dog Club.
Sign in Opens at 6pm and game starts at 6:45pm so please arrive with enough time to gear up and sign in.
Haven't played with us before?
No worries!
New players first game is free! We can provide Swords & shields and our New Player Trainer will teach you all you need to know to jump in and have a go.
To make sure we have enough time to sign you in and get you trained up we ask that you arrive by 6:15pm
All you need to bring is plain clothing, a water bottle and a keen attitude. Don't overthink it! Come along and give it a try, it'll be a blast.
Must have a Swordcraft membership before the game, available on Try Booking (https://www.swordcraft.com.au/player-registration...).
Registration for this can be done before the game with our help but, if you can, please arrive at 6:15pm so we have enough time.
Game runs from 6.45pm-8.45pm, new player training begins at 6.15pm.
Ticket cost is $12, payable by card at the game.
