The 16th International Inter-University Short Film Festival (IIUSFF) is being organized by the Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS) with the support of the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Dhaka and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Bangladesh.
This year, the festival has received an impressive 1,437 short film submissions from student filmmakers worldwide, continuing its legacy as one of the most significant platforms for young storytellers to share their voices through cinema.
The theme of this year’s festival is ‘Talpakha’, inspired by the elegance and cultural depth of this traditional craft. In line with its long-running tradition, IIUSFF highlights native art forms alongside its global showcase of films, celebrating the harmony of heritage and innovation.
The three-day celebration will unfold at TSC, University of Dhaka, featuring film screenings, dialogues, art exhibitions, installations, and much more.
