WMSE Turns up the Heat for the 16th Annual Backyard BBQ at Humboldt Park on August 22nd! Presented by Lakefront Brewery, Valentine Coffee Co, and Gruber Law Offices, LLC.
At Humboldt Park Bandshell, 3000 S. Howell Ave, Milwaukee, on Saturday, August 22, 2026 | Noon to 8pm | FREE ADMISSION
Get ready for another epic day of music, food, family fun, and summer vibes at WMSE’s legendary Backyard BBQ! Since 2010, this beloved free community celebration has brought together Milwaukeeans for a jam-packed day of killer live performances, mouthwatering food trucks, and ice-cold local brews—and this year is going to be the biggest yet.
Here’s what’s cookin’ on stage:
• 12:00 PM – Start the day with DJ Robert G. from WMSE’s Reggae Vibrations (spinning between sets)
• 1:00–1:55 PM – Ivy Ford Band
• 2:25–3:20 PM – Known Moons
• 3:50–4:45 PM – Field Report
• 5:15–6:15 PM – Superchunk
• 6:45–8:00 PM – Sylvan Esso DJ Set
Bring the whole crew—kids, friends, neighbors, even your dog! Enjoy delicious eats and treats from local food trucks: Flip’s Mini Donuts, T. Best Kettle Corn Co., Tots on the Street, Cedar Teeth, MKE Bento, NOLA Sweets, Sweet Smoke BBQ, and Pallino Burger. There will be local craft beer, fun activities, and of course, a full day of incredible music under the summer sky.
