The annual Empty Bowls dinner is our signature fundraising event. We will be doing it Drive-Thru Dinner style again this year! An actual ‘Meals on Wheels’ you could say.

This dinner features hand-crafted bowls from local artists homemade zesty minestrone and a tri-tip dinner with fresh green salad rolls and desserts for two! Plus your choice of local beers and wines.

Each year this event sells out so purchase your tickets early. All of the proceeds from this event support Plowshares’ programs toward fulfilling our mission “that no one in our community go hungry.”

Plowshares is almost entirely community-supported transforming donated food supplies volunteer power and cash revenue from our generous community into sustenance for our vulnerable community members. In the 2021/2022 Fiscal Year Plowshares provided over 65000 meals to those in need.

We are excited to say that Plowshares is still going strong and continues to be open seven days a week providing hot nutritious meals to our dining room guests and Meals-On-Wheels seniors 365 days a year. Your donations and support of the Empty Bowls event make these programs possible and support our work of compassionate service.
