16TH ANNUAL DINING IN THE DARK EVENT!

Dining in the Dark helps to raise funds for educational, therapeutic, vision and support services for individuals of all ages who are blind and visually impaired. These specialized services empower people with vision loss to lead active, independent and successful lives.

Join us for an experience like no other! Come have dinner in complete darkness.

• Delicious 3-course dinner served by the PBSO SWAT Team who will be wearing night-vision goggles

• Music & entertainment
• Silent auction for many wonderful gifts, experiences, and more around Florida

Florida Outreach Center for the Blind, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 2003 and provides FREE programs and classes to the more than 48,000 blind residents in Palm Beach County. All programs are overseen by a certified Vision & Rehabilitation therapist and offered in English, Spanish, French and Creole. PROGRAMS INCLUDE:

• Braille
• Classes for computers, cell phones and assisted technology
• Independent & daily living skills, including cooking/using appliances
• Mobility training
• Outreach programs for seniors
• A reading library with audible books
• Peer support and advisory support groups
• Arts & Crafts
• Leisure time activities and field trips
• Kids’ Club
• Information and referral services
• Serving as a liaison between clients/students and other agencies
