This HAZWOPER 16-hour course provides an upgrade for students previously certified at the 24-hour level to meet 40-hour requirements mandated by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. The HAZWOPER-16 course includes an in-depth exploration of hazardous materials identification, site characterization, safety and health regulations, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). All training materials are provided at class and will participate in hands-on exercises, group tabletops and a dress out, followed by a final exam at days end.Qualitative fit-testing is available for an additional fee. Students who receive fit-testing must produce a medical clearance.
