About this Event
We’re hosting a free coffee morning drop-in session designed to provide a safe, supportive space for anyone in the community affected by domestic abuse. If you or someone you know has experienced domestic abuse, we welcome you to join us.
At this session, you’ll find separate support areas for women and men, offering a comfortable space to connect with others who may have had similar experiences. Our goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can engage with peer support, share your experiences, and access resources for further help.
What to Expect:
• Safe, Supportive Spaces: Separate areas for men and women to encourage open, relatable conversations.
• Signposting to Services: Information and guidance on local services that can offer further support.
• Peer Support: A chance to connect with others and hear about their experiences.
• Activities: Engage in activities led by Turning Point staff to help build your awareness and understanding of domestic abuse.
Who Should Attend:
This drop-in session is open to everyone in the Wakefield community. Whether you’re looking for support for yourself or a loved one, or just want to learn more about domestic abuse and available resources, you’re welcome to join us.
Let’s come together to create a stronger, more supportive community for everyone affected by domestic abuse. For more information, please contact our Get Connected team at 0300 123 1912 (option 3, then 4).
