15th Annual Pumpkin Carving Contest and Potluck! Bring a dish to share and may the best man or woman win! Official Rules for the Pumpkin Carving Contest:
1.) Pumpkins may be cleaned out at home. NO CARVING before the event. Actual carving and applying items or painting may not be done until the contest begins.
2.) Competitors have ONE HOUR to carve their pumpkins, set up display and other items for their theme. At least one pumpkin must be carved.
3.) Judging will be on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the best. Judging criteria will be as follows:
- Carved pumpkin
- Original theme
– Creativity / Artistic Ability / Attention-to-detail
- Use of props/costumes
If there is a tie, the judges will break the tie by pulling the wining name from a hat. Judges will determine the top 3 winners. *Teams are welcome to dress up if they would like to coincide with their contest theme. At least ONE pumpkin from your display MUST be carved.
