Start your eng... err we mean paws! IT'S THE FURRY 5K!
Calling all runners, walkers, and animal lovers!! Welcome to the 15th annual Cedar Bend Humane Society Furry 5K Run/Walk! Join us for a PAWtastic morning on Saturday, May 18th, 2024! This community fun run event is open to all animal lovers and their K-9 companions.
Participants will run twice around the scenic Big Woods Lake, joined by their furry friends, for an exciting adventure they won't forget! Also, get to visit sponsor booths and other family-friendly activities.
In celebration of our 15th annual event, we hope to bring more fun and excitement than ever before! Don't miss out!
Bring your dog!
Individuals with dogs are encouraged to bring their pets along for the fun while you complete the 5K. For everyone's safety, please no retractable leashes; leash lengths no longer than six feet; no female dogs in heat; dogs must be on a leash at all times; all dogs must be current on vaccines.
Don't have a dog? That's okay. If they are available, some adoptable dogs at CBHS will be there to cheer you on in a meet-and-greet area!
Taking photos and sharing videos is a must! Use #CBHSFurry5K to get involved on social media.
All proceeds raised at this event will be used to provide ongoing medical care at CBHS! Your participation is life-saving.
