All are welcome to enjoy light bites and refreshments alongside a live jazz quartet. Tap dancers are invited to join in a tap jam! The event will conclude with a raffle of donated goods and services to support our work as a nonprofit organization.
Who are we? The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble produces original works of choreography while preserving the tradition of improvisation in American rhythm tap, bringing innovative percussive dance to local audiences. Founded in 2011, the Philadelphia-based ensemble centers the work of women in tap through performance, education, and community outreach.
Who benefits? Funds raised at our 15th Anniversary Party will support our Outreach Residency Program, allow us to expand access to tap dance through free community performances, replenish our scholarship fund, and support production costs for our mainstage performances.
