Celebrate Shankhill School 150th Anniversary with us at Shankhill on 13 July 2024 starting at 2PM. The event is open to everyone! Please join us and celebrate!We have activities for the whole family, including games, an inflatable obstacle course, a kiddies roundabout, an air target game, art activities and some other surprises!
ALL THESE ACTIVITIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE.
Hallsford Farm are selling hot burgers and sausages, and there will be other food available, or you are welcome to bring a picnic with some chairs or a blanket. Tea and coffee will be provided as will soft drinks. There will be tray bakes on sale from 'Bake Wright' and a sweetie stall too!
Around 4PM we will all gather for a commemorative photograph, so please make sure you're there for 4PM if not before.
We are hoping that the celebration will continue with a quiz and some entertainment to take us into the evening.
We would love to see you, your family and the wider Shankhill families to celebrate - this event is for all our community to enjoy , children and adults of all ages. We are looking forward to seeing past pupils, teachers, governors, volunteers and anyone who would like to come along and celebrate with us.
Finally, if you have any memorabilia, photographs, stories of your time at Shankhill that you could share with us, please bring them along on the day. We would love to photocopy these to create a historical display for our children to use in the Autumn term.
