Eora/Sydney, Banana Bombs Records is marking 15 years of bass music, events & culture with a milestone event.
From underground Manchester & Bristol roots to a defining presence in the Australian bass scene; Banana Bombs Records has spent the last decade and a half pushing boundaries and championing the sounds of jungle, drum & bass, dub, and hip-hop. This special anniversary event will showcase a heavyweight lineup of DJs and MCs, uniting the Banana Bombs Sydney family for a night of multi-tempo, high-energy anthems and deep bass vibrations.
To celebrate, the label is bringing Manchester's own lyrical champion - Rapper, DJ, producer & artists STRATEGY to Sydney for an exclusive 90 minute DJ & MC set.

Manchester legend, Strategy is a multi-talented vocalist, producer, and DJ, widely regarded as one of the most distinctive voices in UK underground music. Renowned for his razor-sharp delivery, commanding stage presence, and unparalleled versatility across hip-hop and all forms of electronic music, he has built a reputation that spans generations.
A defining moment in Strategy’s career came with the release of Marka alongside Dub Phizix and Skeptical—a track that became a genre-defining anthem, solidifying his status as an essential figure in the scene. His influence has only grown since, with a catalog of collaborations that reflect both his adaptability and his ability to elevate any track. He has worked with some of the most respected producers in the game, featuring on standout releases such as Premium Grease, PFTD with Halogenix, Lunar Eclipse with Visages, and the recent anthem Tell Dem alongside Voltage and Specialist Moss. His ongoing work with Visages on Alix Perez’s 1985 Music further showcases his ability to evolve with the sound, consistently delivering fresh and innovative material.

SUPPORT ARTISTS have been hand picked by label boss Chris Munky; both resident DJs and some of Sydney's favourites.
CHRIS MUNKY & Sydney's own P.SMURF, who have been smashing festival main stages across Australia for the last four years. There sonic melt of multi tempo bass music and freeflow raps incorporates influences from jungle, hip hop, garage, breakbeat and drum & bass.
CHRIS MUNKY, label boss, producer, DJ, and radio host; has toured his love of music across 38 countries over the last 25 years. His music selections come from a vast collection of vinyl and digital tracks. Chris has also collaborated in the studio and on stage with Eva Lazarus, Chali 2na, INJA, Kiko Bun, Afrika Baby Bam (Jungle Brothers), Mr Woodnote, Lil Rhys, and Dub Fx.
P.SMURF has established a strong reputation through his collaborative projects Daily Meds, Reverse Polarities, Sketch the Rhyme and as former co-founder/events manager of Big Village Records. With his genuine, charismatic presence, politically/socially charged lyrics and ferocious, percussive flows, he has earned a loyal fan base over his 15+ year career, as both a seasoned recording artist and live performer.

ROYALSTON is one of Australia’s most respected drum & bass producers. With releases on the legendary Hospital Records & his own label Midnight Zone, Royalston’s intricate sound design and high-energy sets have made him a favourite both locally and internationally. His deep, atmospheric beats and razor-sharp production are set to add another layer of sonic depth to the night.
Crafted especially for the 15th Birthday, Royalston will be dropping a one time exclusive HISTORY OF DRUM & BASS SET; weaving through classics, favourites and Royalston specials, from the last 30+ years of Drum & Bass culture.

She entered the scene through the Sydney DnB Stream Schedule in 2020 and she's gone from strength to strength supporting DnB favourites including Culture Shock, Royalston, Chris Munky, Inja and The Upbeats.
KM3Y is a force to be reckoned with and one of the most exciting up-and-coming DJs. Her creativity in the booth, track selection and high-energy mixing style take you on a frisky journey of rolling bass lines, euphoric classics, nostalgic numbers, and intense double drops. Her lively, zestful and fiery performances will guarantee a serious bass face and trigger finger combo!

WICKED BANDIT , is a dynamic DJ, artist, event producer, and radio host. As the Artistic Director of Honey Trap Sound System, she champions Sydney’s underground music scene with a focus on dark bass genres like phonk, deep dubstep, grime, jungle, and drum and bass. She co-hosts and produces The New Style on 2SER 107.3, spotlighting contemporary underground hip-hop. Deeply rooted in sound system culture and the free party movement, Wicked Bandit is committed to creating inclusive, transformative dancefloors across the city.
