SAVE THE DATE!
December 11th, 2026, will be Terrapin's 15th anniversary of opening to the public. December is a busy month for everyone, so we decided to have our big anniversary party January instead.
On our first year anniversary, we had a live band, "The Mountain Road Ramblers" playing in the hot shop, and we reminisce about that fun frequently. For this big milestone, we are excited to bring local ragtime band The Jimmy Otis Trio into the flame shop for our musical entertainment!
As of when this here FB event page was created as a save-the-date place marker (October 7th) the general schedule looks to be:
2:00 - 3:00 Live Music in the Flame Shop with a few torches running, preparing the flame part of the demonstration.
3:00 - 4:00 Live Hot Shop glassblowing demonstration by Dominique & friends, flame to furnace style
4:00 - 5:00 Live Music in the Flame Shop, socialize, BYOB and snackies.
What will the demo be?! Dominique has 3 months to figure that out. ;-)
