This is our 5th year of presenting orginial plays to compete for the audience vote and win the opportunity for their play to be produced and voices heard by a larger audience!
The winner will be announced following our final performance on Sunday evening , August 23rd, followed by a celebration. All are welcome.
Rules of the competition:
Our competition has no participation fee.
We seek to provide everyone with an opportunity to win and have their work developed into a full production.
Submitted plays must be original works submitted by a living playwright.
Maximum length: 15 minutes.
Cast size: maximum of 7 performers.
All selected plays will be performed during the competition.
Audience votes will determine the winner.
The winning short play will have the opportunity to develop their 15-minute short one act into a full production, to be presented and produced by Lucky’s Lighting Inc. in affiliation with artistic director, Gail Thacker in 2027.
