15 February Edinburgh Palestine Community Wellbeing Group

A group to support each other to stay engaged in the fight for Palestinian liberation, facilitated by a mental health professional. We started in April 2024 and we host bi-weekly meetings in the evening and social events such as picnics in the summer.

Our meetings will be facilitated by a mental health professional with experience in crisis mental health and working with people who have experienced violence. But you don't need to feel like you fit these specific categories. This group is open to ANYONE finding it hard at the moment. Solidarity is built on community. Bring a friend! Our meetings are about chatting, sharing however much (or little!), and building a supportive community.

Once you attend an open meeting you can join our WhatsApp group where we plan impromptu walks, coffees, meet-ups, etc. and see how we can support each other ❤️

Our lovely space at Līla Yoga has limited capacity so we're asking folks to sign up to make sure we aren't overflowing! However, if the event is full then please add yourself to the waiting list so we can contact you about future events.

The sole purpose of the Eventbrite page is to ensure we do not have more attendees than our meeting space can hold! However, Eventbrite requires that we ask your name and email.

If you do not feel comfortable sharing your personal information, you can use a fake name (ex: Not Me) and our email address: [email protected] (or a fake one!). We do not need to see your "ticket" to join the meeting, so don't worry about having that on hand.

If you use our email address (or a fake one) but need to cancel your spot later, please get in contact with us over email or Instagram @epcommunitywellbeing so we can open up the space for someone else.
