14th HomeBase Poetry Open Mic Anniversary

HomeBase Poetry is hands down one of the most upscale open mic in the country! For 14 years we have been providing the valley the best the world has to offer and we will kick off another year in the same fashion. We began on MLK weekend, and we will continue to celebrate our anniversary over MLK weekend. We are bringing you some of your favorites from the 2022 season as well as some HomeBase Legacy favorites. Enjoy the family atmosphere that HomeBase Citizens create. Jam out to the songs you miss, that you grew up to, that make you groove whether you want to or not. Close your eyes to live music from the most skillful musicians in the game. Hear poetry that will broaden your horizons, crack you up, and make you think as much as it makes you feel.

We have some many heavy hitters gracing the stage, and staying true to our anniversary show standards there will be no open mic. Instead we will have a night filled with phenomenal features. Stay tuned as we will be releasing the feature details here soon. Our small business vendors will be there with unique and quality goods, services, and information that you can’t find anywhere else. But the HomeBase crew and the Citizens who have made us there home, are the best thing about us. I mean a room full of positive people with great energy…and looking good at the same time! At every show, we present the Kenny Evans Good Energy Award to a citizen that is helping to make positive differences that better our communities, our youth and our future. This award is named after our close friend and Good Energy team member that we lost way too early in life!

Our doors open 1 hour prior to show start, so be sure to come early and enjoy our Good Energy Vendor Market, network with others, enjoy the music and sign up for some time to shine on the stage.

Time: Doors open at 5pm for vendors, music and networking; show is from 6pm-9pm

Who: 30 year veteran poet and host (and more) Chi-Zona’s HB, open mic and feature performers, and great people from all over the country

Cost: Pre-sale $25 GA and $35 VIP (Pre-sale tickets end morning of show). Tickets available at the door with premium prices.
