Join the women of St. Thomas More as we host this FREE event in praise and worship of our Lord Jesus Christ! There will be breakfast, prayer, songs, laughter and fellowship! This year, we welcome guest speaker Sr Nancy Usselmann from the Pauline Center of Media Studies in Los Angeles.Sr Nancy will speak on Discipleship in a Culture of “likes” and “follows”. In a world of social influencers and the pressure to be always “on,” Jesus calls us to consider the one thing necessary. That is, to follow Him, to set our gaze on Him alone who sets us free from the need to be noticed and the incessant distractions of a digital culture. Sr Nancy will guide us in a reflection on the gifts of social media and the pitfalls so we can grow as missionary disciples of Christ.
The morning includes:
- Holy Mass and Holy Rosary
