Join the Seattle LGBTQ Commission, Mayor Katie B. Wilson, members of Seattle City Council, and community partners as we gather for the Seattle Pride Flag Raising and Pride Month Proclamation.As queer rights, specifically trans rights, are under attack across the country, its more important now than ever for Seattle's leadership to affirm that Seattle is and always will be a safe place for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community to live, work, and thrive.
This year will be extra special- the commission will be honoring our community by giving out two awards: one to an individual community leader who is working hard everyday to ensure LGBTQ Seattleites are safe, and one to a local Queer organization.
Join us on Monday, June 1st at 12:00pm at City Hall.
