Calvary’s Festival Choir has twice been invited by Distinguished Concerts International New York to perform Messiah at Carnegie Hall, most recently in 2023. This recognition reflects the dedication and talent of the choir and musicians who make this beloved tradition possible.

Messiah is also an opportunity to give back. Fifty percent of the concert’s profit is donated to local nonprofit organizations that promote wellness in our community, with additional proceeds helping Calvary create welcoming spaces for community activities.

Guests are invited to bring toilet paper, paper towels or tote bags for the Northside Common Ministries Food Pantry. Complimentary tickets are also shared with neighborhood schools, smaller churches and community organizations.

Experience one of Pittsburgh’s most uplifting holiday traditions, surrounded by candlelight, magnificent Tiffany masterpieces and the glorious music of Handel’s Messiah.
