During Thanksgiving weekend every year, American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) holds its annual event in Chicago, IL. It is the largest gathering for Palestine in the US.This year's convention, entitled "On the Road to Free Palestine," will uplift and celebrate all of the Palestinian rights success stories that have occurred since our last time gathering, even as we continue to mourn the Palestinians killed in the latest Israeli massacre in Gaza in May, and to fight against the colonial expansion emptying our homes and filling them with colonizers in East Jerusalem and all of Palestine.
More people in the United States than ever are becoming aware of Israeli atrocities - and the movement for Palestinian rights is gaining more momentum day by day.
To capitalize on this moment is essential - we must continue to educate, organize, and energize ourselves and those around us. Join us in this year’s annual convention to take another step towards a Free Palestine.
We welcome all of you to attend and actively participate in AMP’s in-person convention this year. COVID-19 was a curveball that canceled our in-person gathering in 2020, but the work for Palestinian rights must never be delayed. Through our resolve and commitment to this noble cause, we put forth a robust virtual agenda in 2020 and plan to carry that energy to our convention in November.
