14th Annual Be the Light Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars aboard the historic USS Midway Museum Flight Deck for Shelter to Soldier's 14th Annual Be the Light Gala. Together, we will raise critical funds to support the life-changing work of Shelter to Soldier - Saving Lives, Two at a Time - by rescuing dogs and training them as psychiatric Service Dogs for post-9/11 veterans living with the invisible wounds of military service. We also extend our impact through our Morale Dog program, placing trained rescue dogs aboard U.S. Navy ships to provide comfort, connection, and emotional support to active-duty Sailors and Marines while deployed.
Set against the iconic backdrop of San Diego's waterfront, this signature event brings together community leaders, philanthropists, veterans, and military supporters for an inspiring evening of connection, celebration, and meaningful giving.
