142nd German Day- Oktoberfest

We want to welcome everyone to come to our 142nd German Day- Oktoberfest on September 18th and 19th, 2026. This is the longest running and oldest German Festival in the State of Nebraska. Come and bring your family and friends and immerse yourself into the German Culture and also see what goes on at the German-American Society. Try all the different German delicacies from our own homemade Brats to Schnitzel, Roast Pork and Chicken. we also have our traditional Sauerkraut and hot German Potato Salad. Then for dessert you can have a piece of Torte from the Torte Haus or a Bavarian Pretzel in our famous Cheese sauce. While you're eating you can also try one our many German Import beers and we will also have original imported Glassware for sale to put your beer in. There will also be entertainment inside and outside. We will have the Festhaus Musikanten from Kansas City again, the Barry Boyce Band, Ken Janek Orchestra, Happy Players, Polka Police and Rip Tide Refugees. Inside we have our traditional German Dancers the Heimat Tänzer and the Clubs Mixed Chorus the Sängerchor. At 2:00 pm on the 19th we wil do our official Keg Tapping and official opening of the Fest backed up by our German Singing group Die Singenden Wanderer. On the 19th we will have children's games and entertainment and facepainting. Both days of the Fest there will be free Parking and a Shuttle at King of Kings Church to the Fest. There will also be an UBER and LYFT station in our north parking lot for those needing a ride.
Our German Day- Oktoberfest is a family friendly fest with many things to do and to see. Our German- American Heritage Museum will also be open on the 19th. so remember to save the date and bring your family and friends. We are located at,
