We want to welcome everyone to come to our 141st German Day- Oktoberfest on September 19th and 20th, 2025. This is the longest running and oldest German Festival in the State of Nebraska. Our German Day festival was started to get everyone to come and immerse themselves into the German Culture and also celebrate their German heritage. We also celebrate the rich tradition of Oktoberfest and everything that comes with it. We pride ourselves on having traditional German food like Brats, Schnitzel, Sauerkraut, Bavarian Pretzels, Roasted Pig, Roasted Chicken, delicious Tortes and more. We also have a large selection of Imported German Beers you can fill your Stein with. Imported Glassware will be for sale from the various German Breweries. We will also have 3 bands playing in the North Fest Tent and Main and South Halls to keep everyone dancing. On Saturday the 20th of September we will have Carnival style games, face painting and a marionette show for our younger attendees. We strive to keep our Fest a family friendly event. We also have games for the Adults like Hammerschlagen and the Steinslide. Some of the traditional entertainment that we have is our own Heimat Tänzer German Folk Dancers, our Sängerchor German Chorus and Singenden Wanderer German Singers. On Saturday September 20th at 2:00 pm we will have our traditional Keg opening with Festhaus Musikanten playing to kick things off. Their is also free parking and a frre shuttle to and from the Fest from King of Kings Church at 11615 I St Omaha, Ne 68137. The hours for our Fest are Friday Sept. 19th 5- 12 midnight and Saturday Sept. 20th 12 noon - 12 midnight. We hope to see everyone there to help us celebrate this historic event.
